Mucho Better

Well this week got off to a slow start. Turns out if you are already coming down with something and decide to jump into 62 degree water; followed with a very cold breezy ride and run; while wet; you will end up sick if you are me.

So Sunday woke up feeling like crap, the old coughing like crazy, nasty snots achy body crap. So my remedy was to go to bed at extreme earliness the next two days with no training and bite this in the ass, oh ya add in some Delsym Cough medicine as that stuff rocks. As Kansas 70.3 is only three weeks out, there is plenty of work to be done and being sick is not going to help. It seems day after day things are improving 100% so I should be back better than ever by tomorrow.
Yesterday to get the week going I did a variable ride in the basement on the trainer and man do I think I need a fan, especially now that it is getting hot out. I think I made a small lake under the bike but it felt good to get the legs moving again.

Last night I ended up swimming a nice set of 2750 that went super quick. Masters is over and now I am forced to swim be myself, this is good and bad. The bad is it is extremely boring, the time is not set in stone so you can procrastinate and no one to swim with means no competition so you definitely don't go as hard. The good is that there is no one to shoot the breeze with so you get in and get done.

This morning was the usual Computrainer class at Endure It!. The class was small but good company. I am not sure what the deal is but these classes are packed all Winter and than come Spring everyone disappears. You can not recreate the intensity of the class in the 90 minutes you are there when riding outdoors. Oh well who knows I think they are worth doing at least once a week and you are done with your ride by seven in the morning.

The set this morning was one of the easier of the year which was good because after being doped up the past two days I needed to ease back into it. The rest of the week through Monday things are going to ramp up!

Tonight debating between a swim or run, it is ridiculous out like 85 so thinking a run may be in store but we will see how it works out.

On a side not looking to maybe ride in Barrington on Monday if anyone is interested just let me know.
